Shawna Henry  MS, LMFT (SHE/HER) SLC

I received my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy and have been practicing since 2011. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in healing from trauma/abuse, family and relationship therapy, adoption and attachment issues, self-harm and suicidal ideation, depression and anxiety, and issues related to discrimination and systemic oppression of minority groups (race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.). I have special interest in women’s issues including relationships, faith issues, trauma, and empowering women to reach their full potential. I look at every situation systemically and, in my work, utilize Family Systems therapies, DBT, CBT, Lifespan Integration, mindfulness, and empowerment principles. I offer a safe and nurturing space to grow and move through the therapeutic process. I value the resilience of the human spirit and the intrinsic value of every human being and feel privileged to walk through the change process with you. I feel privileged to be  entrusted with your life story. I am a Utah LMFT Supervisor
